Gala didn't intend to stay in Italy beyond the summer, nor did she expect her whimsical childhood dream to come to life, or to be within her grasp. But when one of the teams of the Prima Citá, the world's most prestigious motorsport championship, offers her an internship, she will have to rethink more than her university goals.

But her days sorting through paperwork in Zaveri's legal department gradually turn into trips out of the country, escorted by the people behind the team and one of its drivers, Niclas Koch. The rumours in the press run faster than the race cars, and those who taste the glory that accompanies the champagne from the podiums of internationally renowned circuits are capable of anything not to let it slip away.

Maybe Gala shouldn't have known what went on behind the scenes of her favourite team, of that world that oozed luxury mixed with fuel, but maybe Niclas held the key to more of what she didn't know she craved.
