Face in the crowd

Tonight was the night.
But what would happen?
Would he notice her?
Or will she just be another
face in the crowd?

"Ashley! C'mon hurry up we're gonna be late!" Julia called from the kitchen.

I looked myself over one last time before heading down.

Julia and I have been best friends for as long as I can remember. We were like sisters. We had just about everything in common, from our favourite bands to our favourite type of ice cream.

And tonight was going to be the greatest night ever because we were meeting our heroes.
