Cold Fire Rising
This story is a rewrite of a fanfic I wrote in 1998, popular in the TMNT fandom. I have been getting emails from strangers asking me for "Cold Fire" or to write a new story in the same world, a world in which Michelangelo gains telekinetic and telepathic powers via alien technology but at a nearly fatal price. Angst, Tragedy, and Hurt/Comfort were my Tropes to play with. Mikey got hurt a lot. But being psionic helps delay death, you know? Now I get to play with the 2012 reboot from Nick. Despite my skepticism, it really grew on me. Mikey has freckles! And huge bright blue eyes! And he's the comedic prankster with secret brilliant intelligence, the loud silly annoying weird hedonist with ADHD and natural ninja skills who could be the most powerful martial artist if he'd concentrate his potential. It irritated me at first when April O'Neil was brought in as a hybrid teen human with Kraang DNA and psychic powers. But once it was established that in Dimension X, Michelangelo was very powerful, I realized that potentially, Mikey could also have Kraang DNA, which is why he is able to navigate Dimension X as if it were his natural state. "Hey, in crazy backwards land, crazy backwards dude is king." And it does make me wonder if the writers will actually touch upon that. If Mikey really has Utrom DNA, and if it is activated, would he be potentially psychic? I'm not waiting to find out. This story takes place in the middle of Season 4. But I imagine they could take a break for a few months to deal with... um... this. It's technically an AU since I ignore and expand the canon six months. **Completed** Hi! Cubed here. This book is a vigilante TommyInnit story. It is Tommy centric, though it will include other members of the dsmp. I really liked the stories about heroes, villains and vigilantes of the dsmp, although this does not take place on the smp. There will be no smut or relationships although there will be crushes mentioned. I mentally sighed and stared at him. "You motherfucker, I am not a possession and I do NOT belong to anyone. So if you could move your sexy body out of the way, I would appreciate it. Also don't sniff people you weirdo." Tommy, after leaving work is given a book and witnesses a fight between a villain named Mage and two heroes named Anaglyph and Warden. 2 years later, he starts learning magic, with Mage training him to become the new Tome user. Tommy must choose himself if he wishes to become a hero or a villain and chooses to become a vigilante to start off with. But meet a missing hero and his friend, he uncovers secrets about the heroes that he never knew. Tommy can use this to his advantage, hold it over the heroes heads and threaten to release everything. Can Tommy live in a world of superpower and people who've been in the industry longer than he has? With only magic? Words - 80,944 Chapters - 32/?? Note: writing will be all over the place as i'm still trying to stay to a plot line. It'll make zero sense btw. And near the end it starts moving slower since i've kinda lost motivation. Probably because i winged most of it and didn't make a script. Some characters personalities will be OOC as I didn't look into their personalities until halfway through the story T-T Many plot holes where i forget about something and contradict it at a later chapter.
