Clouse falls in love with Chen the first time he sees him. His jealousy grows when Garmadon cheats in the battle and is given the name Lord and becomes Chen's right-hand man. Envy and inattention grows in Clouse's heart. After Garmadon left, he also betrayed Chen. Clouse tried to prove to his Master that he was far more capable and loyal than Garmadon. Clouse became Master Chen's right-hand man. Again a strong jealousy hit him when Chen married the mother of his little girl, Skylor. After Skylor's mother cheated on Chen, he was devastated. Clouse did everything in his power to help his master. His unconditional love kept him close to Chen as he was able to lay down his life for him. After a few years Clouse and his master planned an elemental tournament where all elemental masters were summoned. Clouse started to get closer to Chen even more especially when Garmadon returned.
