A hero and a villain who fall in love, tale as old as time, right?
But it's not quite like that.
Let's try it again: a hero is in love with a villain, and the villain takes advantage of it, pretending to also love them, waiting for the chance to stab them in the back.
Still familiar? Once more.

Ink is in love with Error, who only wants to use him, but Ink is aware; after all, nobody could ever love a soulless creature, least of all someone as hateful as Error. Knowing that pretending to be fooled is the best way to control the Destroyer and prevent him from hurting others, the Creator plays along, deciding a fake relationship is better than none.

"You do know how to eat a burger, right?" Summer rolled her eyes, looking up at him with feigned exasperation. "Of course I do," she retorted, then lowered her voice as she leaned in, her expression shifting to one of genuine concern. "Do you think they have a fork and knife? So I can, you know... cut it?"
