When 13 year old Lilly moves away from her high class life to a small rugged town, she wonders if her life will ever be the same. With the help of her new friends, she's able to settle in pretty quickly. But when her parents move away to care for her grandpa, she's left to live with her best friend Megan. Months go by, and as she spends more and more time with her friend and classmate Joe, she realises he might be more than a friend. Could this be the start of her first romance?
This is the story of what happens to her on her journey through adolescence.

As he catches up to me, he grabs my arm swings me around and with one swift movement he ushers me into a nearby empty classroom with the lights off. He cages me in against the wall. "..or touch you." He says as he takes his hand and brushes it lightly down my arm and he snakes it back around my back pulling me even closer if that is possible. Both of her parents are super rich and try and see who can buy her the best expensive thing. Miranda really doesn't like to be fawned over..at all. She's really low key. One summer, her mom moves to Paris and wants her to fly down to visit her. On the plane ride there, she meets a super cute guy in first class. But then, things turn upside down...literally. Flower Girls
Caroline loves her new friend Lily. They do almost everything together. But as time goes on, it becomes more and more apparent that Lily is not everything she seems to be. Where did Lily come from, what is she hiding, and what's the real reason for their intense friendship? For those of you who are already familiar with my writing, I should let you know that this short story is nothing like anything else I've written. I wrote it as a birthday gift for a ten-year-old girl. She devoured the whole thing in couple of hours and when she finished, she told me she loved it. This ten-year-old girl is very girly, she likes unicorns and rainbows and magical worlds, but she also likes Sci-Fi and scary, threatening bad guys. As a result, the genre of this book is quite niche, and it may not be appropriate for every ten-year-old. There are some confrontations I would categorise as "mild peril." Spoiler Alert: If you're a parent looking for something for a child of a similar age, there are two deaths in this book and so you may want to check it out first because I recognise every child is different. (The girl I wrote is for said they weren't graphic deaths, and she was fine with both in the context of the story.) Anyway, she asked me to put it out there for others to enjoy, so ... enjoy.Terminé
