Their Choices

She was a gentle and kind soul who could make anyone's day bright just by her smile even his.

He hated it how he was so attached to her even though he was supposed to do a brutal thing to her yet he didn't dared to do it.

He looked at his gun and chuckled remembering how at the sight of his gun, her body trembled crazily how could she even protect herself in reality he wondered.

He stood up from his seat and announced his final choice to the others who were waiting for his choice.

"She stays with me, alive"

She sat at the space given near the tall framed window which was slightly opened, the breeze caress her hair as she closed her eyes to enjoy the cold of it.

"What's your choice Emma, please think wisely" a voice spoke from the corner of the room waiting for her answer.

She never felt like this before with someone. He cared for her, he killed for her and he even saved for her. All for her sake yet she couldn't repay his kindness.
His warmth was like none other, not even her friends gave her these kind of butterflies in her heart and stomach.

She opened her eyes softly and looked outside towards the beautiful garden and where the birds sat singing together.

She stood up towards the impatient voice.

"I'll stay with him" she said softly.
