A nord mercenary that follows the dark brotherhood quest line, from TES V: Skyrim.
Some dialogue and some contracts will be different for storytelling purposes as well as lore purposes, after all, this story does not follow the Last Dragonborn, and the story takes place a year or two before the main quest line events of TES V: Skyrim, so dialogue and contracts will be slightly different.
Story contains mild infrequent language, vague sexual references, mild disturbing imagery, and moderate fantasy violence. For those reasons I have labelled this story as "Mature". There is no material contained in this story that is likely to offend minorities or majorities of any kind, however there is some racially motivated violence (the race itself does not exist in reality, it is wholly fictional).
As this is fanfiction, I do not own the setting of this story, nor do I own the majority of the characters. The original story and characters I did not create, are owned by Bethesda Softworks. Any similarities to events or individuals and characters/events I have created is completely coincidental.

Book of the Dragonborn - Story of a Legendary Khajiit
Throughout Tamriel, many heroes have come and gone, many of them boasting great legends to go along with their heroic deeds. The legendary Ysgramor conquered all of Skyrim, the Hero of Kvatch ended the Oblivion Crisis, the Vestige bested a Daedric Prince in combat, Cyrus the Restless brought peace to Stros M'Kai, Tiber Septim conquered all of the known world. None of them, however, can quite match the legends and myths that surround the Last Dragonborn, the slayer of the World-Eater. Though Alduin has been gone for many centuries, the Dragonborn's stories continue to fascinate and inspire scholars and hopeful heroes alike. ------- So, I've used the Dragonborn in question for a few stories, but never anything set purely in the Elder Scrolls universe itself, and as such, I'm gonna try something a little different from my usual stuff. This will read much like any biographical text, or at least, that's my goal, detailing the life of the Dragonborn, being written by an unknown author. Book cover comes directly from the in-game book of the in-game title. The books makes frequent mentions of lore-friendly mods on the Xbox One version of Skyrim. I know I've written something like this before, but I had some new ideas for it and I wasn't entirely sure how I wanted to squeeze them in without screwing up his timeline, so I felt a rewrite was in order. Decided to go ahead and essentially rewrite my other story (love bound in spilt blood) as I wasn't happy with the overall quality and want to write something a little more serious. (Ironic, I know, as if this isn't Skyrim fan fiction.) I want to follow roughly some of the previously made plot points in love bound, but overall have most things be more refined. Also, I want to actually take some creative liberties, and get away from real in game dialogue, lol. Y/n was trained and wanted to hate wolves, yet she had a strange love for the mysterious creatures. Then she happens to get caught up in a raid with the Companions. She had helped Urgrad, her best friend and love, kill the leader, Kodlak. Soon the Companions want revenge and attack her camp. She gets drawn away and is found by a man. A man she's met a few times before. Farkas. She joins the group and they train her. Her destiny falls into place as her life is quickly changed as she falls for the werewolf named Farkas. I update frequently! The chapters start of slow but I promise they get better! So, if you look up Farkas's skill stats, they might surprise you... On one of my Skyrim play-throughs, I did the thing where you drop a piece of armor near Farkas and then tell him he can have it when he asks, and that makes him available as a follower... so I took Farkas with me all over Skyrim even though I'd only started the Companion's quest line. That prompted me to look some things up and come up with a few head-cannons... So here's the story that I tried to make tie everything in my head together... "Farkas is intrigued when he meets a small imperial archer and is unexpectedly caught up in her adventures. As he learns more about her he soon decides he'll do everything he can to protect her... and that promise takes him places he never imagined he'd go; brings discoveries no one thought possible; and changes the course of everything..." Marked "mature" just to be safe, there is occasional foul language and graphic descriptions of cannon-typical violence, implied sexual content, and character death and grieving.
