In the dark fantasy "Echoes of Desolation," twin sisters Rhea and Saturn navigate a world inhabited by enigmatic beings known as Shikome. Rhea stands as the lone human amidst her Shikome family, but everything changes when the sisters become entangled in a fierce conflict between two rival Shikome factions. As the battle rages on, both Rhea and Saturn suffer severe injuries, teetering on the edge of death. In a desperate bid for survival, Saturn, being a Shikome herself, makes an unimaginable sacrifice, urging Rhea to consume her flesh. Bound by an otherworldly connection, Rhea now finds herself grappling with her newfound Shikome identity. As she tries to come to terms with her transformed existence, she must also confront the warring factions, navigate the dangerous SCG organization, and protect those she holds dear. Amidst a world fraught with dark secrets and formidable enemies, Rhea faces a challenging and dangerous quest for survival and acceptance. Determined to find her place, she must carve her own path forward, navigating through the treacherous obstacles that stand in her way.
