Hester Acebo is a disabled young foster mama and aunt of a nine year old girl Millie Hayashi whose parents passed away in a mysterious road accident linked to the dense Alaskan woods. Three days later, their body was discovered, drowned in a frozen lake near the steep mountain range.
This grisly incident deeply moved her still nurturing juvenile mind.
To alleviate some grief off her delicate shoulders, Hester decided to move to her native town Hickery creek for a weekend fun at christmas eve only to end up disclosing some creepy secrets lurking in the festive town that made her question the invisible bridge between actuality and phantasm.
