Also admittedly some of the stuff that is written is a little problematic. I retain full responsibility of the problematic writing and I apologize if it causes hurt or seems insensitive, it was not my intention at the time of writing merely a reflection of the bad influences from the books I had been reading as a young teen. I am trying very hard to make this book more politically correct in my other drafts as do I do not want other people to normalize toxic, homophobic and sexist tropes/ideologies and beliefs through their reading. Life had taken a turn for the better ever since my troubled brother was incarcerated for life. However, one day, a sense of unease crept over me and my best friend as we noticed a mysterious figure tailing us through the bustling town. "Ally, who's that man?" my best friend inquired, her voice tinged with concern. I scanned the area nervously, my heart pounding. "We should get out of here," I urged, seizing her arm as we hastily made our way through the crowded streets. Abruptly, I awoke from a disquieting nightmare, my screams ricocheting through the silent house. "Mom, there's a man chasing me in my dreams," I gasped out, my hands trembling. She attempted to soothe me, attributing the tumultuous visions to my overactive imagination. On one occasion, I inadvertently overheard my mom and aunt engaged in a hushed conversation, puzzling over what impending revelation they were deliberating. Eventually, I mustered the courage to confront the enigmatic man who had been shadowing me. "Why have you been following me? Who are you?" I demanded, my voice quivering with trepidation. "I am Aleekie Smith," he disclosed, leaving me dumbfounded. "You're the man from my dream," I whispered, the pieces falling into place. The drama unfolded further as I crossed paths with a former boyfriend adamant on asserting control, his aggression escalating to a perilous climax when he brandished a firearm. Feeling ensnared, I made a pivotal decision to extricate myself from the tumult, severing ties with everyone in a dramatic departure. Amidst escalating tension and conflict, an unexpected source of solace materialized in the form of my father, ushering the narrative into an unforeseen trajectory. To uncover the compelling trajectory of events that ensued, I urge you to continue reading. This is merely the entrancing prologue of the gripping saga that awaits. Don't forget to vote and comment!

This trip is just what you need before you start college. Cairo is beautiful, baby. You're going to love it." My mother said in attempt to make me excited about our "vacation" but I knew this trick. "I can only imagine," I comment and force a fake smile before turning and looking out of the window. She didn't plan to do anything but escape with dad to work on business. **** Realizing that her parents had left her to fend of herself in Egypt, Ella decided to make the most of her summer vacation and get a job to save up money for college. Little did she know that her boss was an sexy arrogant bastard. **** ~"Damn. Warn me next time you start to strip," I gasp and turn around to see man standing in the doorway of my room. I pull my dress to my chest in attempt to hide my body. "Who are you? Why are you in my room?" I sputtered and rushed to pull my dress back over myself as he put a hand over his eyes. "I happen to be your boss and I just wanted to introduce myself. Great first impression, really. You have a nice ass," "Mr. Antar?" A dark grin spread over his plump lips, enough to make me melt into a puddle of hormones. "Technically yes, but you can call me Logan. Or daddy, if that's what you're into." My mouth went dry and my cheeks burned so much I thought they would catch fire. "Relax, babe, I was kidding. Unless you want to," He left me standing completely breathless and anxious at the same time. I knew this was a bad idea to begin with but something was holding me here. The guards grabbed me, forcing me to enter the room I didn't even want to be in. I didn't want to be here. I didn't want to be captured. And most of all I didn't want to see this mendacious pharaoh. I hated this man! Absolutely hated him. His eyes filled with intense hate as he stared at me. He looked at me with a bored expression on his face. "I thought I told you to bring me the rebel leader, not some vacuous little girl." Anger started boiling inside me. The guards were about to respond but I interrupted them. "Why Pharaoh! What makes you believe I am not the rebel leader?" He looked at me annoyingly."Well for one thing you're a girl" I was completely enraged! "How sexist! You think that just because I'm not a man I can't be a leader! People like you disgust me! It sickens me that I even looked up to you as a child! I idolized you! Followed you everywhere! Thought-" I quickly covered my mouth realizing I had said to much. This isn't how I imagined the situation when I finally saw him again. I couldn't control my anger around him. The pharaoh's board expression turned into a more interested one. "You talk as if we have met before but I have absolutely no clue who you are! By all means I'm interested.... What are you called?" This was really bad! If I told him my name he would kill all of my comrades too. I had to lie... For their sake. "Neith..." The Pharaoh's eyes quickly snapped to me. "Let me rephrase my previous question... Tell me your FULL name and don't you dare give a fake one either or I will slaughter every single member of the rebel army... Even family members who weren't even involved will be killed." It was over! I couldn't let him kill all of those people. I guess my time was up now. He cornered me in to a wall. I was stuck with no other way out. "Safiya...Safiya Zahra." The Pharaoh's smile instantly turned into a frown. "That's impossible!" Well I think its safe to say he remembers me. "I was the one who killed you."
