In the late summer of 1987, after three years of dating, Missie and Johnny, after drifting apart, made the mutual decision to break up. It wasn't a nasty breakup; they were just drifting apart. Missie, staying in Chicago to attend university, while Johnny packed up and moved back to the valley, never to speak to one another again.
Their lives took vastly different turns. Johnny settled into an apartment complex in Reseda after working in construction and becoming a handyman. Meanwhile, Missie graduated with honors in 1989 and landed a job at the prestigious Chicago Museum of Art.
In the summer of 1990, Missie met and married her loving husband, Jack Pearson. Together, they built a family, raising two children, Mason and Brooke.
Thirty years later, Missie, now a widow, resides in the valley with her adult children. She runs the art museum in Encino alongside her best friend and sisters-in-law. One day, fate intervenes when she crosses paths with Johnny at LaRusso Auto. They begin to reconnect, and there's a possibility that they might fall in love again.
