Lúthien Lúinwë was a Silvan elf who loved to defy the rules. She became good friends with dwarven prince, Kili, after doing exactly that-defying the rules set in place by her father. Lúthien was thrust into circumstances she should never have involved herself in. The pair had been friends for fifty years before Thorin Oakenshield, Kili's traditional uncle, discovered their forbidden friendship and drove them apart. For thirty-three years, Kili and Lúthien were separated. One day, fate would have them meet again and they would soon discover that they were closer than they ever thought they were.
