Tristan never asked for his father to be the commander of a full fledged rebellion against the king of Alibion. This leads his father to die on the battle field with over 300 men to command and his fathers death wish to fufill Tristan's 17 of life haven't been so dangerous. Killing the king is almost impossible but it has happened before.
