Michikatsu Tsugikuni is not born with magic.
But Yoriichi Tsugikuni, the eldest son, bears the title of the most powerful magical possessor in history.
The power balance between the two puts Michikatsu on edge.
Michikatsu was seen as "weak" and powerless with no presence of magic within him, and because of that, his older brother intends to shelter him from the danger the world will give.
And indeed, Michikatsu may not be able to possess magic like others, but that does not mean he is weak. Thus, he rebelled and showed the rest how strong he could be.
Yet little does Michikatsu know that his actions are only leading to a fate worse than death itself...
~~~
Michikatsu is hiding. Yoriichi is the seeker. The latter is done playing... and he's had enough.
Amanojaku | Ichijou Masaki x OC
After the greatest misfortune befell the Yotsuba family, they were granted one wish. An individual wish for power so great that no misfortune could ever touch them in any way. However, for every destructive calamity, there must be creative divinity for balance. The family also received their greatest weakness. Amanojaku (天ノ弱) can be translated in many different ways, the closest one is "Heaven's weakness" or "divine weakness." Kuroba Mahiru, one of the Yotsuba family members, starts her first year at Third High School. In charge of intelligence collection and analysis, her entry into the school was not coincidental, but there is more to being a student at the magic school than just magic. Espionage, grassroots movements, and political and societal threats, all of which appear to have no place in a high schooler's life. But even a divine weakness is divine, meaning that there's an infinite ability within a weakness. Perhaps, the only way for a divine weakness to no longer be a weakness is to lose its divinity. The only way for that is to love-something that divine beings are unable to do. A Ichijou Masaki x OC fanfic
A twenty-one years old man, who wasn't kicked out by any means by his parents, no. No longer does he have to feel those lingering eyes filled with utter distaste and disappointment. However, it wasn't their death that led him to walk away deep into the night of their funeral. It wasn't because he could no longer find himself staying at that house that only stores depressing memories. It wasn't because of those that he now suffers from poverty... It was because of Yoriichi. His older brother.Complete
With a burning feeling
For one to inhabit oddities that are truly beyond normalcy, the town has been surprisingly peaceful for many centuries. However, behind the tranquility that seemed to encase the place, there lie intense rules that are forever ingrained by all townsfolk within their hearts and mind. Though it is not the town itself that was odd; but the territory just next to them. Vast and eerie, full of creatures of the unknown, and home to a being so powerful who was feared by all and remembered even by the youngest of children there was. The forest is not to be disturbed. The rules were simple. No one is to be allowed to enter, even taking a daring mere inch of a step, in the forest. NO. ENTRY. This is what has been placed when people take sightings of the large and wide forest. A warning that implies extreme danger due to the number of signs there are in one area. For there is a creature that lies beyond the forest. So dangerous and so terrifying, it could scorch the world with its flames. It's not a dragon. It's not a beastly monster. Not even a giant or a devil. But a god. A sun god. And the sun god's abode was the forest. And he is there for a reason.Complete
Michikatsu confronts his inferiority at Yoriichi (Fan fiction novel)
Michikatsu initially admired his younger brother's strength. But admiration slowly gave way to bitterness. As a trained samurai himself, Michikatsu couldn't stand that his younger brother, who had never trained, could surpass him so easily. Yoriichi's effortless greatness made Michikatsu feel small. After their mother died and Yoriichi left the household to become a monk (to avoid threatening his brother's position), Michikatsu was left feeling both relieved and ashamed. But fate reunited them during the demon crisis. Both chose the path of demon slayers. Artwork by お湯🍙 @OyumaiComplete
