Fear blankets Manchester as the "Deaths of Northhaven" begin again after two long years. Lirio Fernandez and Ronan Fairfax set out to investigate it but fall into a labyrinth as one death leads to another in an unexpected way. They get immensely connected and disgusted at the same time as the bodies found have already undergone postmortem when the victims are alive and fully conscious.
Maze Blackmore has been serving prison time for two years as the accused the deaths of Northhaven comes out as the deaths continue whilst she's in prison. Fairfax suggested taking the help of Maze to solve the case. Lirio who reckoned that Maze was responsible for the killings, is reluctant at first but later gets close to Maze. Their contrasting dispositions together make an invincible combo.
Lirio finally believes that Maze was framed in this case, But why? Who? And why did the killings start again? Was it to bring Maze out? If so why is she brought out?
