Finite tomorrows left you a few.
Each midnight borrows come what may.

Who's to say why things end as they do.
While caught upon your carousel spinning stark.
Looking backwards for a reason without a clue.
Finds pocket full of miracle you dancing in a park.

Singing against the machine your voice echoes still
Where you learned and taught through passage time
There is empty space your prescience no longer fills.
Memories may be transient conscience, yet you will remind.
