Skipper lives a pretty regular life, and as he grows, the world grows with him. Though he's never been one to look at his future, far too focused on what's happening in the present.
Sometimes the things that seem the farthest away, are really only right beyond your reach.

Each chapter is two years after the last, starting at 0 and ending at 22, the only chapter to not follow this theme is the last. Each chapter contains short little glimpses into the world and mind of Skipper, and his family.

Everyone say thank you to my editor @XxShadowKittyPlaysxX, because without her I think this would be incomprehensible.

In Another Life: New World

8 parts Ongoing Mature

Work in progress Original story, won't be updated often and will be missing chapters/events Lucas Blue. Sophomore in high school. A lurker. The quiet kid. Floats at school, keeps grades up, not bad at anything, but never amazing either. Just another nobody. Another nameless face in the crowd. But not for long. Lucas had always been satisfied with his uneventful life. Soon however, he would be pulled into an unwanted spotlight, the centre of focus, the target of a lifetime. Traversing an unknown world with new enemies and new allies, he doesn't know if he'll make it home. He doesn't know if he wants to anymore. Will he make a decision? Will the side character finally come into his own? Will he find a way home, and more importantly, will he make the decision to leave the world of fantasy where he finally felt like he belonged?
