An Azriel Fanfiction. (Azriel × OC) Daggerheart should have always remained in the dark - the shadow you see out of the corner of your eye - gone before you know if it was a human, an animal or a monster. When the war with Hybern ended and fae decided to infest the human realm with spies and messengers, the underworld was in an uproar. They needed to send a message - Even with the Mortal Queens gone, the humans were not left untamed and unsupervised. They had an overseer - An uncrowned Queen. And she would not allow her lands to be once again controlled by fae lords who had tortured and brutalized their people just five hundred years ago.
