The story follows Sasha McCrory, a late bloomer from the more rural part of what was once Virginia, in her senior year at one of the most violent high schools in the country. We follow her and her friends as they navigate through their final year at the notorious Blackwell High School. At the same time, we dive into their mental struggles, find out about the strange semi-dystopia they live in, and dive into themes such as rediscovering optimism from a pessimistic mindset and rehabilitation.
