Not only was I spending two months of my summer with my boring old grandparents. But I found things out about my family that I never knew. I found things out about myself that I never knew. I started a complete new life if that's what you want to call it. I made new friends at a new neighborhood. And I especially met him. The bad boy of the town, probably the whole city. I caught his eye. And he caught mine. Boy this is going to be a LONG summer... But a fun summer. As I met him and found many things out about my family, myself and this neighborhood, my past came up to catch me. In a way, I wish never had been. I'm not like wonder woman, supergirl or catwoman. The only similarity we share is that we all have an extraordinary ability and are females. Many people would say having superpowers was a gift from god and the best thing that could ever happen to you. But not for me, being able to freeze time was more of a burden, because I couldn't control it and it had the worst timing to appear. I also didn't think about being a superhero and rescuing the world from the bad. The only thing I want is to be left alone and get over with my last year of high school. Bad days are inevitable and sometimes they make you want to jump off a bridge. At times they happen because what comes with them are things that'll change your life. I don't know, maybe like being irritated by some kid and being sent into detention only to be stuck with the bad boy that would punch a kitty in the face. Mia knows all about that, she really does. She knows that when you wake up late, you don't dress up, nor do you talk during a lecture. She knows that when the school's bad boy sneezes, you say god bless you, or else you're gonna go for one hell of a ride. And one hell of a fun, unexpected, fucked up, and cliché ride did she go through.
