Haunted
The dead typically want one of two things. Ghosts crave conversation. Spirits seek pain. My name is Bria, and I've been able to interact with the dead for as long as I can remember. Communicating with the deceased might sound like a cool gift, but let me assure you, it's not. Ghosts don't shut up, and not all specters are friendly. In fact, most of them are dangerous. Pretending the paranormal doesn't exist is far easier than talking to the shadows, so I've been avoiding the dead for years. Past experiences have led me to avoid the living too. And for a long time, I've successfully kept my distance. Until a single ghost encounter in the library ruins everything. Now a couple of my classmates know my secret. When a dark situation leads Theo to the quiet village of Eden's Gate, where the residents are odd and the pool of friends severely lacking, he's less than thrilled. The town is a miserable means to an end. And, to make matters even worse, he's pretty sure the house is haunted. Cold spots, flickering lights, a shadow that won't stop following him- a recipe for a haunting, and for a complete disaster. Sam is a vengeful spirit, cursed to walk the halls of his own murder scene for the rest of eternity, doomed to an afterlife of dismal solitude. And then his favourite resident goes and dies, the house is given to new people, and Sam discovers - quite by accident - that the boy sleeping in his room can see him. TW: Mature Content Strong Language Abuse Violence BDSM ___________ Bailey (a broken witch) lived a great life with a loving family and great friends but as soon as some of her friends moved everything became hell. Her best friends got toxic and her mother was poisoned and her father blamed everything on her and remarried. She soon found out she had powers and ran away to a dark forest, finding an academy. ___________ Ace (a demon) has a not so good life, his family was killed in a shooting and he was left alone with his younger sister Vivian. He soon found a home who was every welcoming until he got to the age of 20. Their family were the leaders of a dangerous clan and he had access to anything he wanted. His family got toxic and he and his sister ran away finding an academy. ___________ "Ugh what do you want!?" "I want you to be mine that's what I want." The shadowy figure got closer to me and their red eyes became more bright. "Go away!" I walked forward it ready to fight them but they disappeared. Soon I felt hand wrap around my neck behind me and something near my ear. "You will be mine soon. Kitten." She uses a Ouija board to try and contact them. But it's not her family that she reaches... "Is anyone there?" The eye moved to the 'Yes' " Are you my mother?" It goes to the 'No' very quickly.
