Nicky is in her second year of NYU she's the oldest of 3 siblings each from a different father. After Nicky's father died her mother became emotionally absent, getting herself addicted to drugs and alcohol, sleeping with several other men, having their children, and then putting the children under Nicky's responsibility. Nicky's future was falling apart at her feet. She was crumbling to a million pieces. That is until she runs into Noah. Noah was the captain of the Hockey team and a notorious player. He was everything Nicky told herself she needed to stay away from. But what happens when she learns that Noah is more than what everyone claims him to be?
