Howl was (literally and figuratively) heartless most of his life. His eyes devoid of life, his life devoid of color.

If you'd ask how Howl felt about it, he'd honestly say "nothing", because that's all there is to it.

But if you ask him about his lover, then he'd probably tell you a lot of things. Like how that lover spoiled him, and how pretty they were. Then after some time, he'll stop, stare at you almost suspiciously, and slowly back off and disappear. Probably to complain to his lover.

Ezekiel lived (almost) the perfect life. A golden spoon tucked in his mouth, his body covered in jewels.

If you'd ask how Ezekiel felt about it, then he'd lie and say "nothing", because that's all he's willing to say to a random stranger.

But if you ask about his lover, then... you'd probably die, so.

'Ecstatic Shock' is a spin-off of 'Rendezvous' focused on Howl and Ezekiel's life pre- (and post?) plot.

You can read this without reading "Rendezvous". However, it is recommended.

There's no angst, or anything involving drama. This will be a fluff book filled with light-hearted stuff.
