Nihonkoku Shoukan: Beyond
After 2 major wars against two galactic superpowers, and the Garmillas refugee crisis of 2205, Japan, a part of the Earth Federation, now is seeing true peace. The rebuilding process is happening smoothly, with cooperation between citizens from all walks of life, between the Garmillian refugees and Terrans, and even the famous Shinkansen Maglev system is also rebuilt. However, one day, the people on the land of Japan woke up to a foreign sight. No known constellation, familiar stars, the moon, and neighboring landmass could be detected. Facing them is a planet of unknown, magic, and of possibility. Facing the crisis of transference, the people united once more, and again, the name Japan is re-recognized as a country. Her diplomatic corps is sent out on the rebuilt Japan Cosmo Navy ships, heading toward unknown lands, and contacting the nations of the new world. The politic of the new world however is a quagmire full of arrogance, hostility, and imperialism. "If diplomacy fails, then defend ourselves, we must" - proclaimed the newly appointed provisional PM of Japan, Heikuro Todo. The story of Nihonkoku Shoukan Beyond will follow Japan in the world of Space Battleship Yamato (2199/2202/2205) after their transference to the new world. This story is inspired by the original NHS and fanfics like Summoning America by DrDoritosMD. It will feature similar plots to the OG NHS by Minorou and the fanfics by other creators I have the pleasure to read. With this as my first English fanfic novel, please don't be too harsh. As Kousei becomes more isolated for health reasons, Kaori, Tsubaki and Watari grow up eye-poking, face slapping, and head-clunking their way towards their teenage life. Now, the bumbling trio of Kaori, Tsubaki, Watari, all pure of heart and dim of wit, find themselves on a madcap mission to save their bakery and orphanage from foreclosure. Can the Three Nerima Stooges survive the real world, raise the money and save the day? Why, soitenly! "They're so bad at being bad..... but so much worse at being GOOD!" ----- NOTE: This fic is meant to tell what would happen if Your Lie in April were more comedic (it's an Alternate Universe fic), and is based on the 2012 film adaptation of The Three Stooges (yes, I am aware Your Lie in April is a sad story, but this idea just came to me one day).
