After Hajime fell into the Bottom of the Abyss, a unique creature started watching him. The creature started following him and trying to learn about him without getting too close. It eventually sees Hajime defeat a claw bear before deciding to try to use its skill on Hajime. Once it uses its skill, it copies Hajime and eventually Yue, becoming their new daughter that they travel with.

Practically everyone has heard of stories about mermaids and the humans they fall in love with. What a lot of people didn't seem to realize was that mermaids are monsters. Not the fairytale magic kind, well yes they are, but the kind that eat people and use their leftover bones as jewelry. Katsuki Bakugou is a mermaid hunter. He is one of the few people that knows the truth about mermaids and acts as the human line of defense against these creatures. But are all mermaids alike? Enter, Midoriya. This timid young mermaid knows very well what he is. A monster. In the past he has fed on human kind, but prefers not to. He really likes humans! He spends all his free time watching humans from afar and has grown quite fond of them actually. But when he sees a fiery blonde hunter about to strike down one of his own for attempting to kill a human, which side will he choose? The humans he once devoured as food or his own kind?
