Sybil, better known as Billy, has always been a troublemaker with a heart of gold. After an incident that left her father and stepmother distressed, she packs up her bags and heads off to Mountain Ridge Academy, a boarding school in Cilyria.
There, she has an unexpected run-in with the dark and alluring Keir, a boy she seems to have a weirdly immediate connection with. Her body and mind responding to his in ways she never thought possible. Billy recognizes the darkness lingering in Keir's eyes and stature, and normally, she'd run from it. However, she can't seem to get her body to agree with her brain.
When she finds out that Keir is not some normal human boy, but instead the future king of the Fae kingdom and she's his fated mate, she realises she's bitten off more than she can chew.
