The In-Betweens

Bailey Johnson, a daughter of Hecate, was the elected leader of the In-Betweens. A group of demigod children living on an abandoned farm ini Kansas, without the means to make it to Camp Half-Blood or Camp Jupiter, since they're on opposite sides of the country, and they are all stuck in the very middle. They use the unique arsenal of skills they have as demigods to survive, relying on instinct, since none of them had received any training.

Leo Valdez was trying to fly to Camp Jupiter from Camp Half-Blood when Festus crashed. Something in him told him where to go, which led to him finding the In-Betweens. At first it seems like they're doing just fine, despite their lack of formal training, but all truth must be revealed. They are almost 50 demigods with no training, the oldest only 17, and the leader slightly younger than that. They had been beating the odds for a long time, but their luck was running out.
