All that most people see when they look at Cyrus Levellan, is either a hero sent by Andraste to save them all, or a heathen out to destroy them. No one sees the man behind the titles. The heavy burdens he carries on his shoulders, that come from both his present duties, and the terrible events of his past. 

Apart from going against Corypheus, Cyrus embarks on a challenging, haunting quest:  to solve a strange case which brings back the tragic memories he's kept buried for so long. Not only does he face the threat of an old enemy, but also finds himself falling in love, something he'd sworn to never do again.
