Gabrielle is a French girl, living in the suburbs, in a large family. At only nineteen years old, she has to work hard to help her parents who can't get enough money to buy food for all the family.
Alex is a British boy who belongs to a rich family. His future is all set : when he reaches twenty-one years old, he will marry a wealthy girl called Christina and will work for his family's company.
When Gabrielle and Alex met, a new future gets possible. But it asks some sacrifices, such as cutting the links with family.
What will they choose ? Stay together and leave everything at the risk of losing everything ? Or will they try to forget each other and follow the life their parents planned for them ?
