Manners and Marigolds

Alaina Jones is an 18 year old girl who hasn't gotten to experience much of life. Trapped by her overbearing mother's rules and fears, she yearns for adventure and escape. One night as her mother sleeps, she packs a bag and leaves everything she's ever known to seek the adventure of her dreams. She finds herself in a forest, hours from home, and struggles with the lack of food and shelter. One night as she is drinking from the stream, she notices a dark figure watching her from behind a near by tree. Scared for her life, she runs away and ends up knocking her head against a tree. When she wakes up, she finds herself tied to a comfy bed with the most attractive man she has ever seen staring at her from across the room.

'Where am I? Who is this man? What does he want from me? Why can't I just do something fun for once without it blowing up in my face?'
