Freya has always been regarded as an anomaly, particularly when measured against the typical RainWing norms. Much like her predecessor Chameleon, she possesses the ability to change her scales, but unlike him, she can't fully conform to the laid-back demeanor commonly associated with her kind. Her inherent power far surpasses the typical plasticity of her relaxed brethren.

Moreover, Freya has a penchant for engaging in the most peculiar and unusual of scale patterns, often standing out amidst her fellow dragons.

However, amidst all her uniqueness, there's one aspect she cannot alter: her destiny, which seems to beckon her towards a purpose greater than any other dragon in Pyrrhia, even surpassing the esteemed Dragonets of Destiny.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Recent events have cancelled this old, old story. However! The synopsis for the rest of the chapters I had planned for the sequel, Cloudborn, are at the end of the second book along with the planned third book I had planned to write. Feel free to enjoy the unfinished, old story as you please. And please remember that the new upcoming revamp is a side project that will not have my full attention, so it will not be guaranteed completion. However, the storyline is the exact same as the original Iceborn. So you needn't worry about being left in the dark! (Book 1 of the Iceborn Series) Years after the Dragonets of Destiny. Generations after the defeat of Darkstalker. Pyrrhia has been at peace for as long as their queens could remember. But the hatching of a special dragon might change the course of Pyrrhia's peaceful reign. A twin IceWing egg, hatching twin Dragonets. One with too much ice, the other with too little. Blizzard the IceWing is Iceborn. After being accused of murdering another of her kind, Blizzard is forced to flee the Ice Kingdom or be killed. While on the run, Blizzard runs into two very peculiar dragons. Two dragons with strange symbols on their bodies. Two dragons from a faraway land. A land where Blizzard could start over. A land called Magisalla. The Wings of Fire series Belongs to Tui T. Sutherland. This is merely a fanfiction. NOTE: This story was created before the announcement of the Lost Continent.

"You were apparently picked up at the last minute. The original Skywing egg was destroyed, but luckily we were delivered your egg, unfortunately we ended up raising a lazy Rainwing as well." "But Mudwings and Skywings are our enemies! And the Skywing could be a spy for all we know!! He looks just like a Seawing!" "Is he ok? The strange blue dragon has been muttering in his sleep. Not sure if it was the sleeping darts, but he was muttering some words or something..." "We'll have to kill the blue Skywing, too. He seems pretty useless other than not looking like a real Skywing and refusing to act like one." "Look, whatever you tell us, no matter what, we'll always be your friends!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This story is basically Wings of Fire, but there is a Wings of Sky. The twist is that the Skywing is James, or Phoenix in this story. Basically James gets pulled into a portal that takes him to the WoF universe, and in order to go back to his home he has to do one thing: help the rest of the dragonets stop the war. I'll be keeping Glory in bc I don't wanna leave out our sassy Rainwing queen, and also bc plot. Of course, there will be plenty of things that will change, which you will see as the story progresses! Keep in mind that characters may act OOC (Out Of Character) to fit my writing style, so I don't want to see any of you yell at me about it. If you have a problem with this then either be nice about it or leave the book. Small heads up: This will contain spoilers for the first 5 Wings of Fire books from The Dragonet Prophecy to The Brightest Night. If you have not read those books yet I suggest you read them, but otherwise you are free to read this. (warnings will be on the first page due to lack of space in description) Credit: WOF characters and dragon tribes here all belong to Tui T. Sutherland. The Discord Gang characters belong to their respective owners. Any artwork belongs to me unless I say otherwise!

'Someone out there could shield her from her fate. Surely someone was out there...' Away from the ever-growing cities and kingdoms that dominate Pyrrhia, Bonecatcher, daughter of a MudWing and NightWing, has lived in only the fewest corners of the world. All her life she, along with a notorious group of gypsies, has maintained to a strict route of where she can and can't go, following the beaten path in an endless quest to avoid society- as is the life of the gypsies, who's reputation proceeds them. Bonecatcher isn't unhappy there; it is all that she knows. She would have peacefully thrown bones and read the futures of strangers for the rest of her very contained life. Yet, as she ages, the threat of marriage looms. Bonecatcher will do whatever it takes to rid herself of the ball-and-chain proposal... and when a chance to attend a school for the unfit and unbecoming presents itself in the form of a customer, Bonecatcher is quick to take it. Yet out of the talons of one boy, she falls into another. A boy which she dreams of, a boy she's seen once, a boy that has haunted her for life... he appears, and throws Bonecatcher in a whirlwind. And all the while, a SkyWing's dangerous discovery - one so prolific that her name will be known forever more - threatens to cleave Pyrrhia in two, creating a destructive chaos that may thwart the dragon world into ruin. ______________________ A story of new beginnings and secret histories, join Bonecatcher as she discovers a part of the world which is yet to be marked on any map. 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁... 𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝘆? Life in the rainforest is peaceful. The RainWings live in a place where everything is shared. Food is plentiful, no one ever fights, and even in the midst of war, the kingdom is quiet. Chameleon would never expect anything bad to happen in the forest. A normal dragonet at first, Chameleon discovers that the RainWings are anything but nice. After a nasty encounter, he gains a snout deformity that affects his scales. He suddenly discovers that he has no respect, no friends, and no hope. Eventually, Chameleon is exiled for one simple reason: He is different from everyone else. And then the RainWings do something that Chameleon would never forgive them for. Brimming with fury, Chameleon sets out to prove everyone that indeed he is different- but better than them all. But nothing could prepare Chameleon for what he discovers out in the wilds of Pyrrhia- something so influential that not even Chameleon himself could grasp the true power of it. Now he discovers he has a chance of rewriting his identity, his history, and his future. At last, Chameleon has the potential to make a difference... but what will this scarred, bitter dragon do with his newfound power? _____________________________________________________________ Chameleon ran over to Moss, who was crying, her wings askew. "Did you kill them?" he whispered to Moss. Moss looked up at Chameleon, her eyes glistening with tears. "No," she choked. "You know I wouldn't. That monster- Jaguar- pinned it on me. I promise, Chameleon. I didn't kill anyone. Why are they blaming it on us? What did we do?" "I have an idea," said Chameleon quietly, dangerously. He hissed. "Being different. That's what happened." He drew himself up and curled his claws in. "Trust me, Moss, I will get my revenge." Because no one should be punished for being different. _____________________________ [DISCONTINUED BOOK]
