Lyra had always considered herself to be a monster. She was created by the Necromancer to be nothing but a personal assassin. When he first made her, she was nothing but dark magic with the ability to change into any creature at will. She was then rejected by him when he deemed her to be "not strong enough" and she was left to fend for herself. Being disconnected from his magic caused her to turn into a human, with a heart and a soul and blood pumping through her veins, but able to keep the powers she had already obtained. Now she was on her own with nowhere to go. On her journey for freedom and revenge she meets Thranduil, the king if the elves. There is an immediate attraction between the two that Lyra tries to fight, but she knows that she can't hide from love forever. After a life of betrayal and heartache, can she learn to trust the elf king? Or will she fall victim to the growing feelings that they have for each other?All Rights Reserved

Thror and Thrain accepted her like their daughter. Dakota's life was perfect. She didn't need anything else. She was happy. But she had no idea what was about to happen....
