In his last year of UK high school, Jack Dalton has - finally! - learnt to embrace his awkwardness. So what if his hobby is railway enthusiasm? And memorising bus timetables can be useful, right?

There's still a romantic void in Jack's life, though. The London teen worries he'll be alone forever, until an Olympic volunteering opportunity connects him with closeted and troubled classmate, Evan.

On the surface, Jack and his extrovert love interest have little in common beyond a shared appreciation of bad jokes, and pizza. As colourful friends and family complicate their relationship, though, Jack comes to understand how both boys share a deep need to feel wanted.

With their school days ending, can Jack and Evan remain a couple through near-tragedy, and the looming separation of university? Or will it be all-change, for the rail fan?

In Between Days: Raising Jordan (boyxman)✅ by tristen2500
49 parts Complete Mature
When Jordan Cameron was ten years old, his mother stopped speaking and was never the same again, going from one institution to another and ultimately to a group home. While his father explores the world as a well-renowned geoscientist, Jordan's older brother, Tim, is forced to raise him. Tim, eleven years older than Jordan, never had a normal childhood, living with their schizophrenic mother. Jordan lives in his own world, or so that's what it seems to the average person. No one, not even his brother, has ever given him a chance. That is until Tim's best friend comes along. Jamie Perron has a history of bad relationships, alternating between men and women. This last time he is kicked out by his girlfriend and has nowhere to go so he turns to his best friend, Tim. Jamie only knew Jordan as a child, but never did he think he would develop an unusual relationship with Tim's weird, quiet, and sullen (although cute) nineteen old brother through the course of one exciting and interesting summer. Since River has been old enough to ask, his father has brain-washed into believing that he's unworthy of any sort of love. Especially from his long-awaited, fated mate. He has no future, just an awaited rejection and a continued life of abuse. All that gets him through his bruised life is when he allows his mind to wander to his other half. Even with thought of rejection, River holds nothing more dear than the dream of one day meeting his mate. Little does River know that one day he is going to be sold off into slavery with only that single thread of hope to hold him together. #17 in Werewolf #36 in Romance #13 in LGBT #8 in boyxboy Contemporary Reads Awards- 8/10/16 Brigades Awards- 11/10/16
