So I found this post on Pinterest with a task for writers:
"Write a short story based on a song of your choise. the catch is you must use every single lyric of the song in your story somehow"
And I've always felt sort of inspired to write a bachground story to "payphone by Maroon5" - so this is it.
It is about a guy that travels the world after school. He actually planned on leaving with his girlfriend until she got an acceptence letter for her dream-University. So he left alone and shares his trip with her...at least he tries to.

**I WROTE THIS WHEN I WAS 13** Caleb is the typical guy that every girl wants. He's hot and charming, and he knows that very well. What makes him even more popular is that Caleb isn't a player. The Story of Kristy Killings {SWPB album interpretation}
Some warnings + before reads I guess --- As a huge Snow White's Poison Bite fan, who also got inspired by another user's interpretation of the TSOKK album, I decided to write this short story. - the story is written in third person, sometimes switching to first person depending on the character I am writing and if I feel like it - I do NOT own any of these characters as they are real people (okay... I have renamed the jock and the blondie he hooked with since they needed some names in order to clarify my vision of the story though. I also gave Kristy a last name, so basically I do own them ONLY, plus some side characters) - I also do NOT own the album "The Story Of Kristy Killings", nor any of its songs. All the credits go to the band Snow White's Poison Bite - yes, there will be bloody descriptions of several parts throughout the story, and some characters will get freaky too - the book has 11 chapters with about 26.3k words in total Short Introduction [The End Of Prom Night] --- Kristy Wood, a senior emo loner in high school, is always barely spoken to and thought of having insane murder thoughts. That is until one day, when the almighty day of prom night arrived. Everyone is so busy finding a partner before it's too late, so with full hopes and wishes, Kristy wishes to confess her crush for Brandon, the most popular boy in school, who is also known for being the school's football team's leader (and for hooking up with three girls a week). Things take a turn to the worse, though, and the prom night doesn't go as expected. Toaster serenades Twinkle
Twinkle juggles her time as a sales analyst in a major advertisement. Her job description supports how the company will budget their money. On the sideline she loves to take selfies and travels around the world. Her life is going well and that includes dating, well, that is until she meets Toaster, the only guy who makes her heart beat like crazy. Toaster juggles his time as a volunteer worker in an orphanage, human rights activist and a part time job as a call center agent, enough to support his own needs. He meets a high standard girl name Twinkle and falls in love to her. They've been dating for months now and there is no other girl he loves and sees in his future other than Twinkle. But his time is long due and Twinkle hasn't formalize yet if they are officially a couple, she is indecisive and evade the topic every time he asks if they are a couple. Will he still endure to a possible rejection or it is time to move on? Twinkle and Toaster are mature and have each plan for the future already. That is the problem, their projected five years from now doesn't match with the well plotted life they have for each other. She likes this and he doesn't is the subtle drama they have. Will love be enough to give up the things they believed and planned all their life so they can be together? Or will their differences finally set them apart? This isn't related to this story but, Hi i'm Kate. this is my first fully written story, though its only a short story i'm very proud of myself for fully committing to one theme and finishing it. This short story is very over dramatic and complicated because its my first story but I hope you enjoy. Description: "What are your summer plans?" My teacher asks the class. My classmates respond with the basic responses, vacation, beach, and hanging out with friends. I respond with vacation, but I don't even want to go to Orange County. It's not too far from where I live, but Sana Cruz and OC is a long drive. Aaron felt that rain clouds surrounded him and he was perfectly comfortable with that, he didn't like people- end of story. That is until Keira, the personification of sunlight and his new next door neighbour comes along and flips his entire love for solitude on its head. Then the rain clouds begin to disappear... Aaron sat and listened to me as shadows danced off his jaw, I watched as it flexed. "I cant believe anyone could find you too much" he said looking almost perplexed by the idea of it. "I mean your laugh, your voice, your smile, it all fits you so perfectly" My breath hitched at his words. No one had ever said that to me it felt almost like a confession of some sorts. Intimately whispered in the soft lighting of my kitchen like a secret being told.
