Ellis Reynolds first met River Hale at a park when they were seven years old. It was there that she learned how to play his favorite sport: soccer. The two friends were quite inseparable.
One day, River leaves for France and disappears completely from her life, leaving behind no form of contact. Ellis is devastated, but grows up to be a charismatic woman nonetheless.
