Dear Blair...

Letters written but never read.

Confessions of an unyielding love that couldn't be professed out loud.

Luma (Lisa) was a coward. That was the only way she could be described as. After all, what kind of person could be dubbed as courageous when you've been in love with your best friend all this time, who lived under the same roof as you, who you could confess your feelings for any time of any day, and you constantly chose not to?

And so instead of coming to terms with what she felt, of getting that happy ever after, Luma chose to write Blair (Jennie) letters instead.

But letters written and never read are useless.

Especially when the happy ending becomes farfetched.

"I'm in love with you," she whispers, her voice breaking. Jennie's face softens completely. "So much that I think it might kill me, except I don't even like you right now. I don't even know who you really are. I don't even think you do." She shrugs. "I would love to be with you but I can't, Jennie, I can't. I can be your friend, but I really think you need to figure out who you are and what you want before anything else can happen." Jennie's face falls and tears stream down her cheeks. Lisa wipes them away reverently, breath uneven at the wetness on the thumbs. "You don't want me?" Jennie chokes hopelessly. Lisa smiles and shakes her head. "It's not about what I want," she breathes. "Plus," she tries to smile. "It might not just be you that I'm getting." Post-disbandment fic.
