After Gwen and her 'team' managed to save Miles from the other dimension and  lots of convincing, Miguel decided to grant Miles access to the spider society and for a few months everything was going well for everyone. Except Gwen..
Miles still hasn't forgiven her and he doesn't plan to, what makes it worse for Gwen is that Pav seems to support Miles in basically freezing her out? 
Lately it feels like Hobie is the only person she can really trust, and that might be because she has a crush on him.. and the small moves she makes seem to be going well.
