The Queen is about to die and prophecy has it that the next Queen will destroy the land. Except she stops it.

After asking her spellcasters to cast a spell that will transform her looks to that of an aged woman, she journeys to find a Queen fit to rule, and binds her to the crown with magic. But no one knows of this, not even the girl

And so it is that 9 years pass by, the Prince is King but has no Queen and then the search for the key to the Queen's chest begins.

Meet Alani, a girl from a poor background who just wants to save her family from slavery. She decides to sell a treasured key an old woman gave her long ago. A key that can save her from slavery.

But can she bring herself to do it? Even if she does, to whom? And will the crown recognize the buyer?
