Nirvana has never been a fan of books until she read one of Salem's heart wrenching book. She became a fan. She was captivated with the author. They met. They became friends. Nirvana always prioritises her career over love, but when Salem asked her if he can court her, the principle she stood by flew into thin air. In less than months they fell inlove with each other. But of course this is reality there is no perfect couple there will always be flaws. They fought a lot and one of the main reason is Salem never opens up to her, but still they won't let each other go.

Until Nirvana asked him for the last time why he never talks about his past and why he avoids it. Salem never answered. She decided to let him go and bring that principle of hers back. Career over love. But then when she's finally moved on, Salem confessed that past of him to her.

Will she take him back?

Or closure is enough for her?

The Mafia's Doctor

57 parts Complete

[edited version of Doctor for the Mafia] Ila Archer was a doctor working at one of the best hospitals in New York. She loses her license and ability to practice due to, as punishment, taking full responsibility for the 'walking patient' incident. After a full month, Ila runs into the 'walking patient'. Knowing her situation caused by his actions, he offers a once in a lifetime opportunity. ----- "Look, you're a doctor-" He started. "Was." I corrected. "I was a doctor." "You can still be," he said, running his fingers through his dark hair. "Look, you can work for us, and I'll pay triple the amount you were earning at that lousy hospital." "Us?' I asked. Who was he? How exactly does he plan on paying me triple? He grabbed my wrist and pulled me inwards. My face inches away from his chest. With his free hand, he was gently tucking my hair behind my ear. His breath tickled my ear as he whispered two words that sent shivers down my back. "The Mafia."
