And, if it works, a small percentage of the time, the subjects are let loose, given a certain freedom they had never experienced. And that's what I had now. Freedom. After around ten years of making sure my neural system was intact, the metal surrounding me grew with my body and the batteries didn't poison my immune system, I was given the option of getting out of CARESS, also known as Centre of Adolescents in Rehab after the Effect of Scientific Surgery, and live a normal life. Well, as normal as it could get for a teenage girl with giant metal wings stuck behind her back. ~~~~~~~~ "You remind me of Maleficent... But with blue wings... And definitely more badass." "Who?" " You know, the girl that poisoned Sleeping beauty?" "I repeat. Who?" "We are so watching that. Why do the butterflies do this? There are multiple theories, from ancestors of the Avians to even being sent from gods as guardian Spirits. However, No one really knows.. You may be wondering, if this is just a legend, why is it believed by most Avians? Well the legend is true. However, as decades went by it's became a rarer sight.. Most of the time these butterflies started to help in secret for reasons nobody really understands. 2nd chance at life (Wings of fire)
A story about some dragon's getting 2nd chances and hopefully happy endings Hopefully I wrote some of the dragon's well enough for their personality but I don't doubt that I wrote some poorly. First ever story though. Also took a bit of a hiatus halfway through the 2nd chapter due to real life issues so it may not be fully coherent
