"What do you mean you are pregnant?!" My best friend of 20 years screamed at me on the phone. I had picked up after she had called me, knowing she would because I had texted her the three words 'I AM PREGNANT'. It was not something I thought I would ever text my best friend at 23, especially when I was without a boyfriend or partner. I live in a small studio apartment in Tacoma, Washington, where I am currently having my freak out.
"Well, the little stick has two lines," I answer.
