Then there's Audrey, the fittest most charming, and most handsome of the dragon killers. Not only is he irresistible, he already likes her. Besides these two men, she gets kidnapped by the dragon she was supposed to kill. Suddenly, she's thrown into a whirlwind of confusion as she befriends her worst enemy and falls into a terribly conflicted love triangle, but through all of it, she believes the dragon is steering her right.

"Two are holding lanterns. I'll tell you when you're too close to them." I heard my friend whisper in my ear. I followed the men as I picked up another branch and waited for the right time to break it. They continued to walk through the forest, turning their heads in every direction as if an animal might lunge at them and rip their throats out. I guess in a way I was going to do that. "Go back a few feet." My friend whispered. I carefully distanced myself from the group and waited. "Where is she?" I quickly snapped the stick as soon as he finished asking the question. They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind. At nine years old, Silver decided to leave her village for the forest. Since then, she's been hunted; everyday is a fight for her life, every breath she takes could be her last, but she's determined to stay alive. Her life isn't the kind anyone would want to live but she's managed to survive this long so, what's a few more years?

As a princess and heir to the kingdom, her future was daunting enough. The fact that she turned into dragon and would be killed if anyone found out made it all the worse. So, Skylar lived in constant conflict with the beast within her, all while training to be queen one day. When a fellow king discovers her secret, she is forced to flee or put her entire family in danger. When she meets Orion, the Alpha of a dragon clan, he helps open up a whole new world to her. In this new world, Skylar discovers who she is supposed to be and what she's been hiding from. She finds the beauty of her beast and a love she only ever dreamed of. But then her new world is threatened. It becomes a matter of kill or be killed, so Skylar's new family, with the help of her old, must rise to the challenge to defeat this threat. Most of them would abandon the eggs and others destroyed them. All except for one female who decided it was not the fault of her young ones that he had left. She decided to keep her clutch and raise them herself without the help of the Dark One that had used her. And thus our story begins ...

After a massive famine, this world falls into chaos, giving rise to a pack of cannibals that systematically ends the population. This group is known as the Voidian Raiders. Over the course of the three series, we meet a band of survivors that ultimately defeats the raiders and, later on, teams up with them to save the dying Void. This culminates in the remaining Voidian population settling an island in the Dragon Universe, starting over from scratch. Tales From the Void is a series of side stories, documenting the journeys of other Voidians and their struggles in background of these events. Some directly intersect with the events of the Void series, some only connect losely, and some are connected to entirely other storylines in my vast Dragon Universe continuity. Most are written, however, in a way that you do not need to understand the full scope of the lore, and you are given enough context that you can get the basic story.
