Sally Hanson has always been the kind of girl who is quite shy and not very talkative. She is tall with wavy brown hair that goes just past her shoulders. She has a pretty face with unnaturally blue eyes. Or are her eyes green? Or purple? Or red? It seemed that every time she looked in the mirror her eyes were different colours. 

One summer Sally was in her secret hideout in an underwater cave in the ocean. It was a hot day considering she was in Canada, although it was cold in the cave. All of a sudden the cave water started bubbling. Sally started to freak out when she saw a tail in the water. Like an actual fish tail! How could that be possible?!?All Rights Reserved

Mermaids are real, and unlike humans they have powers. Every mermaid is matched with an element when they are born, its not there choice but the worlds in a way, you see the mermaids tail color tells them their element and powers some are more powerful with it and other's not so much to useless. Green tails mean their element is Nature and earth, orange and yellow is light, purple is shadows, pink is wind and then there is blue for water and red for fire. But, when a princess is born with a tail holding 5 out of 6 of the elemental colors and starts getting hunted at the age of one. There was only one thing the king could do to keep his precious babygirl safe and that's what he had done. Amelia Light was adopted at the age of one. Knowing the truth she feel's that these people are her real family even if they aren't by blood. Living a normal life with a loving family and an annoying older brother, Amelia never expected her life to change in the way it did. She had grown up to love the water, she could always hold her breath for a long time and the people around her would always be filled with shock and bewilderment but, to her it was normal.
