The egg glows in Soren presence, showing that the dragons hatchling within the egg has chosen him. The mother dragon entrusts her egg to Soren, but warns him that a human bonding with a wild dragon egg is rare will bring watchful eyes upon him. Three years later, at age 15, Soren is accepted into the Zestria Dragon Rider Academy. He quickly makes himself known and word begins to spread of his abilities.
