Protect Us is a story about two teenage sisters, Abilene and Adina, who are members of a cult that is an extremist sect of the polygamist and Mormon religious community's belief system. Abilene and Adina adore their mother, Diana, and they would do anything they could to keep her and the rest of their siblings safe and happy. Diana is the first wife of the leader of the cult, Matthew, a tyrant who wants to collect as many wives and have as many children as he can. What happens when the leader's overly indulgent tendencies threaten "the family"? Will Abilene and Adina risk their safety and break the law to deliver their family from the sins of their father? Or will they decide to run away forever to escape the corrupt laws their father has created including their arranged marriages that their father has personally chosen "for the good of the church"?
