If it hurts to be in love and to be out of love, where do you find a medium? Well let me change the situation actually, what if you physically, mentally can not be in love. Wanting to be in love can still be possible. Having a desire for a sexual life is one thing but having an inclination for a relationship and true love are different people. Lucy tries to feed into the delusion that she has no interest in a relationship. However she gets the hare and the rabbit mixed up and her body and heart tend to speak her mind when around him. Like a spell or compulsion, love and affection is too much to bare and she starts to think with her heart. Having mentally ill genes and addiction genes are scary especially when you don't know which genes you have. It is said that traumatic events trigger those genes inside of you, for Alejandro that was very true. Going off into the streets at a young age and taking care of his little sister caused many mental problems for him. However, once he found his addiction he stuck to it. He used street drugs and drank bottles of glass to treat his depression and social dysphoria. When you have an addiction like him, as great as he does, you are taking advantage of it. When it comes to relationships he finds himself always getting hurt and going in deeper with his depression. Some things never change but most things do.

Two years after her mother died in a horrifying car crash, something good finally happened to Lucy, or so she thought. Someone good. And gorgeous, too. Her name was Mackenzie Rizzo, they met in an 18 and up club, and Lucy was certain that she has found what she's been missing in her life - until she learned that Mackenzie was already married. Two years of secret meetings and heartbreakingly disappointing weekends later, it seemed that Lucy found someone who would give her everything that she lacked in her relationship with Mackenzie: Damien Coleman. Juggling him and Mackenzie quickly became effortless but wasn't meant to last soon after she met Damien's older sister, a new heartbreak followed, and all Lucy could think about was revenge. After being caught up two love affairs and struggling with an alcohol addiction Lucy returns home. It isn't long before she finds out she's pregnant and her ex-boyfriend begins pressuring her to reconcile and marry him. Damien's a good guy but she doesn't love him. She reveals another relationship she carried while dating him. Lucy's rejections burn and another series of events causes Lucy to do some deep soul searches when her baby is born early. Suddenly she finds herself the caregiver of this tiny baby, and at war with her inner demons when she turns to a higher being for help, she needs.
