I HIDE, SO I CAN BE MYSELF Why ask yourself, why, and just worry about keeping up in motion? Every person is special, especially Jess. For Jess, that's difficult because he's been neglected by almost everyone and doesn't even realize it. He's special because he is an Innate, a person who possesses incredible abilities. But he doesn't know it. But not until he meets fellow Innates, Jackson, Ace, Robert, Sarra, Zach and Alice. WE LIVE AMONG YOU. WE ARE NOT NORMAL. WE ARE DIFFERENT. WE ARE CALLED, INNATES. What if there was a secluded academy for Innates residing at an oblivious area of the solar system? What if Jess completely changes himself for good? What if things go horribly wrong after one's arrival? Inspired by: X-Men, Tomorrowland, Divergent, Kick-Ass, Big Hero 6, Push, Kingsman, and Legend.

Waking up on the edge of a cliff in an unknown world wasn't part of the plan. Neither was having absolutely no memory of how I got here. But here I am-confused, probably high, and screaming into the void. With no clue what to do next, I do what any sane person would: throw a tantrum, curse at the sky, and accidentally "befriend" a weird, tiny creature that may or may not be magical. Now, lost in a strange world with only my questionable survival instincts and a feathery menace at my side, I have one goal-figure out what the hell is going on. And maybe, just maybe... find my way home. If that's even possible. ===== My first story that's gone public feel free to criticise soo uhhh here-

This is a story I produced between the age of 11 and 14; it is not perfect, but I'm too sentimental to edit it.

A short story. I wrote this as a project for Advanced Writing. Kinda rushed, but okay if you're bored and want a quick read. Enjoy! PS: I have a tendency to drag things out. So, even my "short" stories end up being kinda long. My bad.

The story of a guy with extraordinary abilities and extraordinary problems. He meets friends, enemies, and loses a bit of each. I enjoy writing and drawing comic books and making my own heroes and villains and I wanted to see how turning my favorite hero into a book would turn out. Feel free to give feedback, it always helps. Jack Carter is your semi-average guy. Sixteen, 5' 11, charcoal black hair, and a slight muscle build. The rich popular kid that everyone adores. Until his life takes a turn for the better and worse. Sure, the move was bad. A whole new city across the country. The Big freakin' Apple. Then there was the fact that he had to leave all his friends and make new ones. Double bummer. But juggling his new abilities and super villains? Now there's the ride of a lifetime.

Another ordinary day. That's what I thought. Boring and normal. Until everything was flipped upside down. Kidnapped, tested on, and then set into a new city I've never seen with no clue what was happening, or why. Then my supposed dream reached into the realms of possibility. I could be a hero. (This is just the manuscript. Nothing is complete. The plot is a mess. And theres lots of unnecessary things. The finished version will be much better)
