"Do you think you'd ever give someone you loved a second chance?" I asked as I looked across at the most beautiful girl I've ever laid eyes on.
"I don't know. Truthfully I want to say I would, but it would depend on the situation. Why?"
"Oh, nothing. I was just curious." I said anxiously biting the inside of my cheek trying to figure out what to do next. The right thing to do would be to tell her the truth and let her decide what she'd want to do but I didn't want to. I knew what her choice would be. I was now just praying that her memory of me didn't come back.
