Lee King wakes up on a couch in a black void, utterly alone save for a mysterious girl sleeping beside him. She is Allie, and it soon becomes apparent that neither of them have any memory of the other, let alone themselves. As the world fills in to take the shape of a mansion, they come to learn they're caught in a dream, drifting somewhere in the unconscious. Guided by the residents of the manor, Lee explores the abode, reliving his past-- from childhood and adolescence to a bitter adulthood. As he fills in the gaps of who he was, he will come to learn how his fate is inextricably linked to Allie's, and what ultimately brought them both to the mansion. But are the answers he gets what he really wants?
